The Woman Who Took Down NY Governor - Elliot Spitzer

Well what can I say. The man has a bad habit. That habit was looking for sex from a high paid call girl. Everyone thought he was squeaky clean and was a crusader for everyone. What really made it funny is that he was going after prostitution and cleaning up all of New York. I too was drawn into the fact that he did some clean-up of Wall Street. He took down some of the biggest player and most just settled out of court.

I guess he wouldn't have bee in trouble if he was caught at a Vegas brothel. I can't imagine what his wife was going through as she stood right next to him. I mean he has a very expensive taste. $4,000 call girls? Wow! The girl is a 22 year old aspiring musician Ashley Alexandra Dupré. Dupré is an aspiring R&B singer from Long Island. She was part of the prostitution ring, Emperor’s Club V.I.P. I went over to her MYSPACE website and listen to the music. Her voice was alright, but not a star and all. But I am sure she will be making more money on each song. It is like 89 cents a song, but the site which stores the song on a pay per download had over 200,000 hits. By next week she be a millionaire. Then she has offers from playboy, penthouse, book deals, and movies.

Here is the site of some pictures:

Did anyone get a chance to watch Jim Cramer from Mad Money holding back the tears when they asked him how he felt regarding the his friend Elliot? He almost broke down and was trying real hard to not cry. It so sad to see that someone with such a bright political career ahead would end up in a prostitution sting.

Wii Played Tennis and Boxing

I was over at my relatives' house and my two nephews were playing on their Nintendo Wii. They asked me if I wanted a shot at the tennis game they were playing. Tennis? Moi? Hell yeah! I love tennis and these guys got no chance with me. Then again this is not real, but rather on a video game. They claim it is like the real thing. I gave it a go and got crushed, but I got the hang of it. Then next match I won. Then they wanted to vent their frustration on their lost with a boxing match in which you have a nunchuk hooked to the Wii controller. You have to use both controllers to punch. It was pretty cool and I got a nice work out. After a few rounds, I got knocked out. After a few more wins, they conceded they were no match for me. Thank goodness! I was sweating and out of shape. This is a nice workout! I really enjoyed the interaction with the game. I could barely move either arms the next day.

They asked how was it compared to my PS3...let just say that Wii is more for kids. The graphics are no matched compared to the PS3. Well if I want a work out, I will just rock around the room with my guitar hero 3 game. I do highly recommend the Nintendo Wii for kids, but for adults....PS3 system. I am a little worried I might get carpal tunnel syndrome from rocking on the guitar. Heard a few sports players sitting on the bench from playing too much guitar hero. LOL!

Vietnamese Sandwich

I been having this craving recently for Vietnamese Sandwich (Bun mei). This is from my recent trip over to visit relatives in the Portland, Oregon area and I had the pleasure to visit a Vietnamese sandwich store. If you never had one, it is delicious!! It is basically a 12 inch French bread that is split in half and filled with the following: Spread of mayonnaise butter on each half, then filled with ham, head cheese, and liver wurst. Topped with pickled carrots, cucumber, and daikon. Then salt and pepper with cilantro.

Tomorrow, i am going to make my very own. I purchased the French bread today. The other stuff, I am going to buy and put it together. I will let you know how it works out. Where is your favorite place to get Vietnamese sandwich?

Call of Duty 4 for PS3

Today, I was all excited with my recent purchase of Call of Duty 4 for my PS3. The only word that best described this game is WOW!!! The graphics of the game is unbelievable. I thought I was actually in the game myself. To me this has got to be the game of the year. Perhaps the best feature of the campaign mode is the frequent checkpoints. There are a variety of weapons to use and many missions to go through that you won't get bored.

Brief review without giving the detail away:
Probably the best first person shooter in the military aspect I have played so far in my life. Single player mode is really a lot of fun. The levels always have a different objective and plus it switches from the British S.A.S. and the USMC. Online play has got to be the greatest. There are so many different categories to pick from you won't get bored.

You fight your way through some intense chapters. The weapons are much more sophisticated than the ones in WWII era CoD3. You're mostly shooting whichever modern-day weapon you happen to have picked up (mostly from dead soldiers on the ground) along your objective route. Your objectives that guide you along are updated regularly as you complete each task throughout each chapter. And some of those tasks are brutal.

My Rating Overall: A
Graphics: A+
Sound : A
Gameplay: A+
Intensity: A
Violence: B+
Blood: B

If haven't had a chance or think of getting it.....GO get Call of Duty 4 today!

BigCrumbs

Got back from shopping today and a friend of mine says she does most of her shopping on line. She mentioned she save more money doing this than driving to a mall. Here's her reasonings:
Gas is not cheap anymore, no taxes (some retailers), free shipping (some retailers), and cash back.
I asked her in details on cash back and she mentioned BigCrumbs. I went to the website after I got home and checked it out. It's free to sign-up and you do get cash back from a large list of retailers. Anyway, I signed-up and thought I let all of you know about it. Every dollar saved helps. I guess, I'll be doing more on-line purchases. Added the site at the top of the blog.

Guitar Hero III for PS3 - Review

Since I got the Sony PS3 console, I got the Guitar Hero III bundle. Who doesn't love playing air guitar? Guitar Hero 3 is my first time playing the game. The game is best described as awesome! I am still getting use to the hand coordination in easy mode. A nice collection of songs. As you beat a boss, more songs are available. I can see this game occupying most of my time as it can be addictive. Guitar Hero has delivered.

Playing the boss battles are a nice change of pace, and a good addition to the series. This game is an awesome buy, there is no wonder why it is a hard find in the retail stores.

The only thing I don't like about the guitar is not blue tooth that I wished it had a USB port for charging similar to the controllers. It would have been a big plus. Another draw back is you can't buy an individual guitar to play along with a friend unless you get the bundle. Next year, the individual guitar will be available.

I can see this occupying most of my time as the game is addictive. It's time for me to get back to playing GH3!

Sony Play Station 3

Well, I got one of the video game console for a Christmas this year. Really nice system and the price wasn't too bad. The way I look at it is better deal than most system like Wii and Xbox360. Why? Well just a Blu-Ray player itself cost $300 alone. Here are the features:

1) Very large hard drive.
2) Wireless feature - Surf the net and play on-line with other players
3) Blue tooth technology - no more pointing at something with remote and wireless controller.
4) Blu-ray player - High Def dvd
5) Graphics - The games are so realisitc with 1080P upconvert
6) Several memory stick slots - There is enough slot for different memory stick for those camera to be viewed.

Overall, I think it is a nicely built system and for the value of what it can do. Still uncovering the full capability of the system.
